La Brigade Du Kif is a French alternative music group known for their high-energy fusion of ska, rock, swing, and punk. Founded in 2015 by singer and songwriter Mika Riff, the band has become a staple of the French alternative scene, celebrated for their festive atmosphere and brass-heavy sound. The band’s sound is defined by its infectious energy, often described as “ska-rock” with eclectic influences ranging from metal and reggae to waltz and traditional French chanson. Their lyrics often feature a mix of humor, impertinence, and social commentary. They have released several albums, including their self-titled debut La Brigade du Kif (2015), En bas de chez toi(2018), Open Bar! (2021), and their latest studio effort, On Veut Du Bruit (released in May 2025). Some of their most well-known songs include “Le reste je m’en fous,” “Aux armes,” “Les courants d’air,” and “Loupé Mon Bus”. La Brigade Du Kif is highly regarded for their “wild” live performances and extensive touring. As of April 2026, they are currently on tour across Europe, with upcoming dates in Germany.
