Arch Enemy is a highly influential Swedish melodic death metal band. Formed in Halmstad in 1995 by guitarist Michael Amott, the group has established itself as a global heavy metal powerhouse known for its technical twin-guitar hooks, intense blast beats, and fierce growling vocals. The band is particularly famous for breaking boundaries by featuring prominent female growlers as lead vocalists throughout most of its career.
