Less Than Jake – Europe Tour 2026
Supports: A Wilhelm Scream, The Suicide Machines
Exuberant US ska-punk, a willingness to tackle socially critical themes, and a healthy dose of fun right from the start—that is the easiest way to characterize Less Than Jake’s discography to date. The founding members came together in Florida in 1992 and released their debut album, *Pezcore*, three years later. Named after the Austrian candy, the album introduced—in full-length format—the blend of ska and punk that has long been considered groundbreaking; over the years, this sound has impressed with crunching guitars, booming bass, and a powerful horn section featuring both trombone and saxophone. It is a packed, dynamic mix practically made for the live stage—one reason why Less Than Jake is not only regarded as one of the most influential ska-punk bands of the 90s and 2000s but has also spent 34 years without taking a single summer off, clocking up over three decades of high-energy concerts. Their latest release, the seven-song EP *Uncharted*, arrived in 2024, following the 2020 studio album *Silver Linings*. On that full-length record, the band demonstrated that they could set the fun aside to make room for heavier themes within their fast-paced punk songs. Over more than three decades, they have amassed a vast catalog of albums, tapes, B-sides, and live recordings, spawning hits such as “All My Best Friends Are Metalheads,” “The Science of Selling Yourself Short,” and “She’s Gonna Break Soon.” These tracks remain staples of every Less Than Jake show—and there are plenty more shows coming up this summer! Joined by A Wilhelm Scream and The Suicide Machines, the band is heading out on a European tour this July and August, with three stops scheduled in Germany.
A Wilhelm Scream (abbreviated as AWS) is an American melodic hardcore band from New Bedford, Massachusetts, formed in 1993. Known for their highly technical, fast, and energetic punk rock sound, their name is a direct reference to the Wilhelm scream, a famous Hollywood stock sound effect.
The Suicide Machines are an influential American ska punk and hardcore punk band formed in March 1991 in Detroit, Michigan. Best known for blending high-energy ska rhythms with aggressive hardcore punk, the group became a staple of the 1990s punk revival. Fronted continuously by founding member and lead vocalist Jason Navarro, the band is celebrated for its relentless touring and politically charged lyrics
