“Over the years, CABAL has established itself as one of the heaviest and most uncompromising metal bands from Copenhagen, Denmark. The band’s sound is visceral and destructive, aiming to unleash absolute chaos by drawing inspiration from oppressive death metal, modern hardcore and metalcore to disturbing soundscapes and dark electronic music.” (Quotation: Nuclear Blast Records)

Danish deathcore band CABAL, founded in 2015, opened for Ten56 at Gebaude9 in Cologne, Germany — and they didn’t hold back. From the very first note, the band delivered an unrelenting wall of sound, their performance amplified by relentless strobe lights and dense waves of smoke.

The atmosphere inside the venue quickly shifted from tense anticipation to pure bedlam. CABAL’s riffs and guttural vocals pushed the crowd into a frenzy, feeding off the band’s raw intensity. Every breakdown landed like a hammer strike, sending the room deeper into chaos. Halfway through the set, the energy surged even higher when Ten56’s frontman joined CABAL on stage for a song. His presence drove the crowd into absolute madness.

Though they were among the openers, CABAL commanded the stage as if it were their own, proving once again why they’ve become a rising force in the modern deathcore scene.
