Oscar Blue opens with a solo acoustic set for Brenn!

Opening the evening for Brenn! was Oscar Blue, an Irish singer-songwriter who has been blending the soulfulness of Irish folk with pop-rock influences since his early teens. Performing a concise but engaging 30-minute solo acoustic set, Blue accompanied himself on guitar while subtle pre-recorded ambient textures filled the background.

Despite the minimalist setup, his performance resonated strongly with the audience, earning warm and sustained support throughout the set. Among the highlights were Backyard Mafia, Silhouettes, A Dance at the Crossroads, Birds In Winter, and Pipedream.

Blue’s understated performance provided an effective contrast to the headliner, setting a reflective tone for the evening and introducing many concertgoers to a promising young songwriter whose connection with the audience was evident from the outset.
