Crowe Boys at E-Werk

The Crowe Boys opened the evening of Max McNown with a 30-minute acoustic set.

The alternative folk and country band, made up of brothers Ocie and Wes Crowe, originally hail from the rural bayous of Louisiana but are now based in New Orleans. They have quickly emerged as rising stars on the Americana circuit.

For this stripped-down performance, Ocie played acoustic guitar and a stump bass drum while Wes provided mandolin accompaniment and vocal harmonies. Their sound blended traditional country storytelling with the rich musical heritage of New Orleans. The songs explored themes of relationships, self-discovery, and personal identity, delivered with an intimate and authentic charm that immediately connected with the audience. Notable songs performed: Where Did I Go Wrong, Made To Wander, Let me Feel Alone, Bootstraps.
