Vreid opening for Hypocrisy- Mass Hallucination Tour 2026 on April 23, 206 in Essigfabrik, Köln.

Vreid opened the night as the first of four bands at the Essigfabrik in Cologne. Despite having only a 30-minute set, they were met with a strong response from the crowd and had no trouble energizing the room from the very first song. Hypocrisy didn’t cheap out with their Mass Hallucination Tour, all the bands participating are prominent names of the industry.

Vreid is a Norwegian extreme metal band formed in 2004 following the disbandment of the legendary black metal group Windir after the death of its founder, Valfar. Based in Sogndal, the band describes their music as “Sognametal,” a unique blend of melodic black metal with rock and roll influences. Their name is an archaic Norwegian word meaning “Wrath”.
