Abbath – Mass Hallucination Tour 2026
Abbath (born Olve Eikemo) is a legendary Norwegian musician and one of the most recognizable figures in black metal. He is best known as the charismatic co-founder and former frontman of the pioneering band Immortal, where his unique “crab-walking” stage presence and rasping vocals became genre hallmarks. After leaving Immortal in 2015, he launched his eponymous solo project, Abbath, which continues his legacy of “ice-cold” black metal blended with traditional heavy metal influences.

- Abbath (Solo Band): Formed in 2015, the band has released three acclaimed studio albums: Abbath (2016), Outstrider (2019), and Dread Reaver (2022).
- Immortal: As a primary songwriter and performer from 1991 to 2015, he recorded iconic albums like Pure Holocaust, At the Heart of Winter, and Sons of Northern Darkness.
Current Activity (April 2026): Abbath is currently on the Mass Hallucination Tour across Europe alongside bands like Hypocrisy.
We caught them on camera at the Essigfabrik in Cologne along wtih Hypocrisy, Vreid and Vomitory in a sold out show.
Their one hour set somehow stole the show for me at least. I’m pretty sure we will see them returning as headliners down the road.
