Dogma – Tour Noir 2026
Dogma delivered an extensive, visually striking, and tightly coordinated theatrical set that stood out as one of the evening’s most memorable performances. With synchronized movements, dramatic staging, and their signature masked “nun” imagery, the band created an atmosphere that felt as much like a stage production as a metal concert.
A metal reimagining of Madonna’s Like a Prayer was the undeniable highlight of the set, drawing a strong reaction from the audience and showcasing the band’s ability to blend theatricality with heavy instrumentation. The closing track, Father I Have Sinned, brought the performance to a fittingly dramatic finish.
For whatever reason, the band strongly recalled the concept behind Blue Man Group, with coordinated costumes and hidden identities placing the focus on the collective performance rather than the individual musicians. Musically, the “nuns” were solid throughout the set, although the vocals occasionally lost some momentum in places. Even so, the combination of visual presentation, atmosphere, and stage presence made the performance consistently engaging.
Dogma is an international heavy metal band known for its provocative “satanic nun” imagery and theatrical live performances that blend metal music with conceptual storytelling. The band describes itself as a “cult” or a “movement” focused on rebellion, sexual liberation, and anti-religious themes.
- Aesthetic: The members perform in stylized nun habits, subverting religious iconography to represent freedom and unbridled desire.
- Theatricality: Their live shows are designed as “rituals,” heavily influenced by the theatrical styles of Kiss and Alice Cooper.
- Music Style: A mix of heavy metal and hard rock with melodic elements, often compared to bands like The Pretty Reckless and In This Moment.
- Core Personas: The band members use pseudonyms: Lilith (Vocals), Lamia (Guitar), Nixe (Bass), and Abrahel (Drums).
- Recent “Implosion”: In late 2025, several key members—including vocalist Grace Jane Pasturini (Lilith) and guitarists Amber Maldonado (Lamia) and Patri Grief (Rusalka)—departed the band.
- Allegations: The departing members publicly accused the band’s management of manipulation, mistreatment, and financial exploitation. They claimed the project had been turned into a “brand” where musicians were treated as replaceable pieces.
- Current Status: Despite these departures, the project remains active with new members filling the established personas to continue touring
- Self-Titled Album: Their debut album, Dogma, includes tracks like “Father I Have Sinned,” “Forbidden Zone,” and “My First Peak”.
- Upcoming Releases: A new album is planned for 2025/2026, preceded by the single “Fate Unblinds”.
- Live Events: Dogma is currently on the Tour Noir across Europe (May 2026) alongside Lord of the Lostand League of Distortion. Tickets and “ritual” meet-and-greets are available via the Official Dogma Shop and the Dogmaverse
