Dogma – Tour Noir 2026

The all-female Dogma delivered an extensive, visually striking, well-coordinated, and theatrical set. A metal reimagining of Madonna’s Like a Prayer was the undeniable highlight, alongside the closing track, Father I Have Sinned.

For whatever reason, the band reminded me of the concept behind Blue Man Group, with their coordinated stage costumes concealing the identities of the performers behind the masks. While the “nuns” were musically strong, the vocals occasionally lost momentum here and there.

Dogma is an international heavy metal band known for its provocative “satanic nun” imagery and theatrical live performances that blend metal music with conceptual storytelling. The band describes itself as a “cult” or a “movement” focused on rebellion, sexual liberation, and anti-religious themes.

Band Identity and Concept

Aesthetic: The members perform in stylized nun habits, subverting religious iconography to represent freedom and unbridled desire.
Theatricality: Their live shows are designed as “rituals,” heavily influenced by the theatrical styles of Kiss and Alice Cooper.
Music Style: A mix of heavy metal and hard rock with melodic elements, often compared to bands like The Pretty Reckless and In This Moment.

Current Lineup and Internal Conflict

The band has recently faced significant internal turmoil and member turnover.

Core Personas: The band members use pseudonyms: Lilith (Vocals), Lamia (Guitar), Nixe (Bass), and Abrahel (Drums).
Recent “Implosion”: In late 2025, several key members—including vocalist Grace Jane Pasturini (Lilith) and guitarists Amber Maldonado (Lamia) and Patri Grief (Rusalka)—departed the band.
Allegations: The departing members publicly accused the band’s management of manipulation, mistreatment, and financial exploitation. They claimed the project had been turned into a “brand” where musicians were treated as replaceable pieces.
Current Status: Despite these departures, the project remains active with new members filling the established personas to continue touring
