Witchcraft – Sol Sonic Ride Part III 2026
Witchcraft is a Swedish occult rock and doom metal band formed in 2000 in Örebro. Originally started by frontman Magnus Pelander as a tribute to Pentagram, the band became a cornerstone of the modern vintage rock revival, known for their authentic 1970s-style analog sound. Their early work is characterized by “lo-fi” traditional doom and psychedelic folk. Over time, they incorporated more modern stoner metal and progressive rock elements. Magnus Pelander is the sole constant member and primary songwriter. Signature Style: Use of vintage equipment to capture a raw, organic, and haunting atmosphere.
Witchcraft closed the festival on the Carlswerk Victoria stage. By then the number of spectators decreased somewhat but still enough people around to have the full feel of the floor. Their sound was somewhat the softest of all bands, the most melodic for sure, with a touch of southern rock feel, fully enjoyable even for those who are not into stoner rock.
