Bridge City Sinners – Death´s Door Tour 2026
Support: JOHANNA ROSE & THE DREAMBOATS
Take Americana, traditional Appalachian folk, jazz, and dark punk—and you get the Bridge City Sinners. This US band has already taken their home turf by storm and is now finally returning to Europe!
The Bridge City Sinners were founded in 2016 by lead singer Libby Lux and upright bassist Scott Michaud, both of whom had spent years hitchhiking across the Americas. They would frequently meet up to busk together before their paths diverged again. Eventually, they met like-minded musicians in Oregon, and the Bridge City Sinners were born; despite a few lineup changes, Libby and Scott remain the group’s core.
They released their self-titled debut album the very year they formed. With a unique blend of dark punk-metal and a classic folk instrumentation—featuring fiddle, banjo, and upright bass—they quickly built a loyal fanbase that affectionately calls itself the “Sinners.”
The Bridge City Sinners are a group of people whose calling is the creation and live performance of art. They remain true to their DIY ethos throughout: all their albums are released on their own label, “Flail Records.” Following *Here’s to the Devil* (2019), they even cracked the Billboard charts in 2021 with *Unholy Hymns*.
Their 2024 album, *In the Age of Doubt*, is another love letter to non-conformity, art, and life itself. Their concerts evoke that same feeling: driven by talented instrumentalists, Libby’s powerful voice, and an honest punk attitude, their shows are simply fun—as proven by their appearances on major festival stages like the Vans Warped Tour, Punk Rock Bowling, and the Seattle Folklife Festival. This summer, the Bridge City Sinners are bringing their immersive live show to stages across Europe—including seven concerts in Germany!
