Queensrÿche + Rivers Of Nihil
Queensrÿche is a pioneering American progressive metal band formed in 1980 in Bellevue, Washington. Known for their technical mastery and social consciousness, they are often cited alongside Dream Theater and Fates Warning as the “Big Three” of the genre.
Current Status and New Music (as of April 2026)
The band is actively working on their 17th studio album, a follow-up to 2022’s Digital Noise Alliance.
- New Album Progress: Guitarist Michael Wilton confirmed they are in the “pre-production” phase with roughly 13–15 song ideas. They are once again collaborating with producer Chris “Zeuss” Harris.
- Upcoming Tour: A European tour is scheduled to begin in June 2026 in Cologne, Germany, featuring Rivers of Nihil as special guests.

- Mike Stone: Rhythm Guitar (Returned in 2021).

Rivers of Nihil is an American progressive and technical death metal band from Reading, Pennsylvania, known for their atmospheric soundscapes and the unique incorporation of saxophone. Formed in 2009, they are currently signed to Metal Blade Records and have evolved from a straightforward technical death metal sound into a more experimental, “progressive” style.
