Opening the night for Tucker Wetmore was Carter Faith, an American country singer-songwriter from Davidson, North Carolina known for her “cowgirl hippie” aesthetic and ethereal, storytelling-driven sound. Often compared to legends like Tammy Wynetteand Dolly Parton, Faith blends traditional country roots with touches of dream-pop and rock influences. After moving to Nashville at just sixteen, she quickly became a fixture in the city’s songwriting scene.

Faith opened the evening with a roughly 40-minute set accompanied by two musicians: a guitarist switching between electric and acoustic guitars and a keyboard player who helped add texture to the atmospheric arrangements.

Her mostly slow-burning songs, occasionally shifting into mid-tempo territory, gave the sold-out room an intimate introduction to her repertoire. Highlights included Betty, Greener Pasture, Grudge, Cowboys & Dreamers, Cowboy Forever, Misery Loves Company, and Burn My Memory, offering the audience a glimpse into Faith’s emotionally rich songwriting.
