Kelsey Waldon (USA) was live at the Yard Club with special guest Domino Lewis (FR).
After the initial hiccup ‘anybody has a tuner, I forgot my tuner’ Domino Lewis presented a 30 minutes acoustic set and I would say she left nothing to complain about in her program.
After a brief intermission, Kelsey Waldon took the stage with her five-piece band, guiding the audience through a nostalgic retro-country performance. The music channeled the timeless character of classic AM radio, a treat for traditional country enthusiasts. While her authentic Kentucky accent added character, it occasionally made the vocals challenging to fully understand.
The concert was attended by a handful of audience, around 60 people I would estimate, which is unusual for country concerts around here.
