the sun came out for one day of our visit and we strolled along happy under the blue sky for few hours then after some rest we returned for some evening walk. no tripod at night is not as a big disaster nowadays as the high iso capability of newer cameras is allowing decent shots after sunset. add a bit of noise reduction in Lightroom and photos look even better.
