Seal – Celebrating 30+ years of the classic albums I+II
He possesses one of the most distinctive voices of all time: throughout his career, Seal has left an indelible mark on the worlds of pop, R&B, soul, and dance music. Now, in 2026, the multi-award-winning singer is finally returning to Germany for live performances with his “Celebrating 30+ years of the classic albums I & II” tour. With four open-air concerts in Cologne, Berlin, Hamburg, and Winterbach, Seal will celebrate over 30 years of his renowned classic albums, *Seal I* and *Seal II*.
Over the course of his career, Seal has sold over 30 million albums worldwide, generated more than 1 billion streams, and won four GRAMMY® Awards, three BRIT Awards, two Ivor Novello Awards, and one MTV VMA.
As a versatile and vital force in pop culture, his repertoire includes ubiquitous anthems such as “Killer,” “Crazy,” and “Kiss From A Rose”—all of which stormed to No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, earned GRAMMY® Awards for “Record of the Year” and “Song of the Year,” and graced his quadruple-platinum masterpiece, *Seal II* (1994). Looking back, *Stereogum* compared the album to a “radio wave sent out into the universe from a much, much more beautiful planet.”
In addition to appearing in films by legendary directors such as Spike Lee and the late Joel Schumacher, his music has been celebrated through cover versions by artists including Alanis Morissette, Bastille, and George Michael, to name just a few. As a testament to his enduring influence, Seal has made appearances in projects ranging from The Lonely Island’s cult classic *Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping* and Tyler Perry’s *The Passion*, to television shows such as *America’s Got Talent* and *The Masked Singer*. Most recently, in 2019, he was nominated for a GRAMMY® Award in the category of “Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album” for his release *Standards*. Furthermore, throughout his career, Seal has collaborated with—among others—Jeff Beck, Joni Mitchell, Santana, P!nk, John Legend, and Gallant.
In 2026, Seal’s voice will ring out louder than ever as he celebrates over 30 years of his albums *Seal I* and *II* together with his fans—bring on the summer!
