Megan Moroney – The Cloud 9 Tour

The country singer and songwriter Megan Moroney from Douglasville, Georgia had a dream start: Her first EP “Pistol Made of Roses” already made waves in the US country scene in 2022. When she released the first pre-singles of the debut album “Lucky”, there was even more momentum in the matter. The charming, wonderfully sung country pop song “Tennessee Orange” was to blame for this, which went viral from September 2022 and deeply touched many Americans. Moroney tells a love story of two young people who should not actually love each other.

Since then, things have continued to run smoothly for Megan Moroney, whose songwriting and style reminds many of the young Taylor Swift – although it must be said that Moroney focuses less on teenage themes than Taylor on her first albums.

In 2024, their second album “Am I Okay” came and convinces above all in the rather guitar-pop title song and in the sighing-beautiful country ballad “No Caller ID”. In October of this year she announced album number 3:

“Cloud 9” will be on the 20th. February 2026 and to be the reason for their tour of Germany. The first single from it, “Beautiful Things”, is already Megan Moroney at her finest: Her voice shimmers and shines, the steel guitar complains discreetly in the background and her lyrics some fans do not want to be wrongly tattooed on the skin.

In September, Megan Moroney will play her only German concert in Germany to date in Cologne at the Carlswerk Victoria.
