After moving to Nashville, he began his professional musical career and quickly established himself as a fixture of the current country scene.
Drake Milligan celebrated his national breakthrough in 2022 with the debut album “Dallas/Fort Worth”, which topped the iTunes country and all-genre charts and was counted by Billboard among one of the outstanding country albums of the year. In November 2025, his second studio album “Tumbleweed” was released, which combines traditional Texas country elements with Western swing and modern Nashville sounds. The single of the same name reached the top 10 of the UK country radio charts, while “Old Flames, Old Whiskey” impressively stages Milligan’s narrative power and his distinctive baritone voice.
Drake Milligan also convinces live with an extraordinary presence. Appearances in the Kelly Clarkson Show, in the Grand Ole Opry as well as at festivals such as the CMA Music Festival and Stagecoach are among the highlights of his career so far. In addition, he recently made history as the first artist to perform on a Formula 1 race track in Austin, Texas, as part of the F1 Grid Gigs. As a support he accompanied Cody Johnson, Lainey Wilson, Luke Bryan and Blake Shelton on tour.
With his concerts in September 2026, Drake Milligan brings his rousing live energy back to Germany. The audience can look forward to evenings that combine traditional country spirit, musical virtuosity and charismatic stage presence.
