David Eugene Edwards (born February 24, 1968) is an American singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist celebrated as the pioneer of the intense, brooding “Denver Sound”. His music blends Gothic Americana, neofolk, punk, and alt-country with a powerful, apocalyptic spiritual fervor inspired by his strict Nazarene upbringing.
