True Moon is a Swedish band rooted in dark wave and post-punk. Karolina Engdahl (vocals, bass) and Tommy Tift (guitar), who were also part of the Swedish punk band Vånna Inget, started the project to explore a darker, moodier sound. Their music blends sharp, atmospheric guitars with driving basslines and Engdahl’s vocals, drawing clear inspiration from classic post-punk and goth pioneers like Joy Division, Siouxsie and the Banshees.
They played live at Kult41.
