Satanic Surfers are a legendary Swedish punk rock and skate-punk band formed in 1989 in Lund. Alongside bands like Millencolin and No Fun At All, they were a cornerstone of the 1990s Swedish melodic punk explosion.
- Signature Sound: Fast-paced, melodic skate-punk characterized by catchy riffs and a mix of personal and political lyrics.
- The “Rodrigo” Factor: For much of their peak, Rodrigo Alfaro notably handled both drums and lead vocals simultaneously, a feat that became a trademark of their high-energy live shows.
- Break & Comeback: After disbanding in 2007, they reunited in 2014 and released their comeback album, Back from Hell, in 2018.
- Current Status: They are currently active as a four-piece, with Rodrigo once again performing double duty on drums and vocals.
