Samantha Fish – Paper Doll World Tour
March 11 @ 8:00 pm
Samantha Fish is an American guitarist and singer-songwriter from Kansas City, Missouri. While often cited as a blues artist, Fish’s work features and draws from multiple genres, including rock, country, funk, bluegrass, and ballads.
Samantha Fish is not only considered one of the most remarkable guitarists of her generation, she also plays in a league of her own: she masterfully infuses both overwhelming energy and extraordinary emotionality into all her pieces and has enjoyed a triumphant career. She has steadily worked her way up to headline-level status, including a Grammy nomination in 2023 for the album “Death Wish Blues,” a collaboration with rocker Jesse Dayton.
On her new album, “Paper Doll,” the first album Fish has recorded with her touring band—comprising Ron Johnson (bass), Jamie Douglass (drums), and Mickey Finn (keyboards)—the artist presents nine powerhouse tracks that hit with tremendous force. The new songs sound both exceptionally raw and nuanced, all bearing witness to the unabashed defiance that permeates the entire album.
Since Fish always kept an eye on how the new songs would fit into her repertoire and be integrated into her high-energy live show while recording the album, we can look forward to seeing how Samantha Fish and her band present the new songs in their set on the “Paper Doll World Tour.”
Opening the show is the Zac Schulze Gang – a trio that doesn’t bother with subtleties, preferring instead to play the kind of blues-infused rock ‘n’ roll that grabs you by the throat and doesn’t let go.
In spring 2026, Samantha Fish and her band will stop in Germany on the “Paper Doll World Tour” and present the new album live at three exclusive shows.
