Molotov – Europe Tour 2026

Guest: Mala Rodriguez

MOLOTOV
Founded in 1995 in Mexico City, Molotov revolutionized Spanish-language rock through an explosive mix of political satire, rap, and punk. With the release of their debut album ¿Dónde jugarán las niñas? (1997), the band challenged censorship and became the voice of a dissatisfied generation. Iconic songs like “Gimme the Power” and “Frijolero” fuse a powerful sound with direct critiques of the system.
This irreverent and rebellious approach solidified them as cultural icons and one of the most influential bands in Latin America. The group’s signature sound features heavy basslines, bilingual lyrics (Spanish and English), and an unconventional setup where members often switch instruments during live performances. Molotov is currently celebrating its 30th anniversary with the MOLOTOV 3O ANNIVERSARY TXXXR, which runs through mid-2026. Their most recent studio album, Sólo D’Lira (2023), won the Latin Grammy for Best Rock Album.
