Joe Jordan is essentially a typical singer-songwriter from the northeastern United States. Until 2023, he played his music in every bar and honky-tonk that allowed him to plug his guitar into an amplifier, quickly learning how to engage his audience. That this background led to one of the biggest US country hits by an indie artist sounds both cheesy and perfectly logical. As a songwriter, he penned Rayne Johnson’s song “Front Seat,” which, with over 130 million streams, remains one of the most successful country hits by an indie artist in recent decades. But Joe Jordan’s own music also thrives on honest and emotionally unfiltered lyrics, which make his songs captivating and relatable, offering a high degree of identification. He has therefore been compared to musicians like Zach Bryan, Noah Kahan, and Tyler Childers, who pursue similar musical approaches. After releasing two EPs and several singles, Joe Jordan has announced the release of his debut album for spring 2026. To celebrate, the singer-songwriter, already well-known in the US as a high-energy performer, will be playing an intimate club show at the Blue Shell in Cologne in April.

Joe Jordan made his single debut in 2023 with the song “Boulder In The Wind” and has been releasing successful tracks regularly ever since. His biggest hits to date – “Born To Be Broken” (2023), “Don’t Tell Alley,” “Spiraling Down,” and “Big Enough Mountain” (all 2024) – as well as his current hit track “Deeper Talks,” all share one thing in common: an emotional intimacy carried by Joe Jordan’s honest and fragile voice and the rhythmic playing of his acoustic guitar. With full instrumentation, the singer-songwriter creates veritable anthems of heartbreak, pouring out his own sorrows by addressing themes from his own life. His two EPs, “Born To Be Broken” (2024) and “Oh! The Anxiety” (2025), also impressed with the same trademarks that put Joe Jordan’s sound on the international radar. By 2025, his music was being streamed over 300,000 times a day, resulting in over 8 million streams per month and confirming the hype surrounding him. In December 2025, Joe Jordan released his latest single, “Home Used To Be,” which, with banjo, harmonica, and desert rock guitars, delves deeper into the country side of the songwriter’s sound.
