Health – Conflict: Europe 2026
The world seems to have gone off the rails – and that’s precisely where HEALTH comes in. What once sounded like dystopian exaggeration now appears in 2026 almost as a sober assessment of the current situation. With their sixth studio album, “CONFLICT DLC,” the Los Angeles trio further develops their approach: a sound that defies easy categorization and finds its strength precisely in this eclecticism. Industrial, metal, electronic noise, and pop fragments intertwine as if they had never been separate.
Their previous album, “RAT WARS,” already marked this transition to a hybrid style that consciously navigates between extremes. “CONFLICT DLC” builds on this and intensifies the contrasts: heavy riffs meet club-ready beats, fragile melodies meet eruptive bursts. Songs like “ORDINARY LOSS” and “VIBE COP” unleash a physical force, while “SHRED ENVY” and “THOUGHT LEADER” hint at moments of lightness without ever releasing the underlying tension. It’s music that doesn’t order the chaos of the present, but rather reflects it. Direct, maximalist, and without any evasive maneuvering.
This approach becomes particularly tangible live. What HEALTH brings to the stage doesn’t follow the principles of classic shows, but manifests itself as a condensation of energy. The sound pushes, pulls, and overwhelms; electronic textures and walls of guitar merge into a state that hovers somewhere between ecstasy and loss of control. The band channels a peculiar form of catharsis. The audience isn’t calmed, but drawn in. What seems fragmented on record coalesces on stage into an intense whole: raw, immediate, and physically palpable.
The tour is accompanied by two acts that meaningfully expand the spectrum of tension. VOWWS, a Los Angeles-based duo with Australian roots, cultivate an aesthetic of darkness, which is repeatedly punctuated by fragile moments of light. Their current material oscillates between dark alternative, industrial influences, and an almost otherworldly melancholy.
DOODSESKADER from Belgium take this boundary-pushing approach even further. Their sound is an unpredictable hybrid of hip-hop, industrial, dream pop, and brutal rock elements. This creates a raw, often eruptive dynamic that consistently defies stylistic categorization and exerts an enormous pull, especially live.
With their “Conflict: Europe Tour 2026,” HEALTH condense their diverse approaches into an evening that doesn’t follow a linear narrative but rather brings together contemporary musical extremes. After shows in the USA, Central and South America, the band is now bringing their uncompromising energy to Europe. At the beginning of August, they will be performing in Stuttgart as part of their “Rat Girl Summer II” tour, as well as co-headlining a show with Perturbator in Nuremberg. A five-date tour in Germany follows in November.
