Andy Fairweather Low is a highly respected Welsh guitarist, singer, and songwriter known both for his 1960s pop stardom and his later reputation as the “ultimate sideman” for rock legends like Eric Clapton, George Harrison and Roger Waters. He first rose to fame as the frontman of the Cardiff-based pop-soul group Amen Corner, scoring massive UK hits such as “Gin House Blues”and the 1969 chart-topper “(If Paradise Is) Half As Nice”. He has recorded or toured with The Who, Bill Wyman’s Rhythm Kings, Bob Dylan and Jimi Hendrix. In recent years, he has returned to his roots as a frontman with his own band, The Low Riders.
