Eric Clapton European Tour 2026 will kick off in April and will include three dates in Germany, with special guest Andy Fairweather Low.

In recent years, Clapton has commented about considering retiring, but seems like he is not at that moment yet. The journey begins this spring in Amsterdam on April 24 at the Ziggo Dome. Clapton will then traverse the continent, hitting major arenas in Belgium, Poland, and the Czech Republic before heading south to Spain. The European leg concludes with a high-demand triple-header in Germany, stopping on My 23 in Mannheim, May 15 in Cologne, and May 17 in Munich.

Eric Clapton – press handout

Eighty years old guitar legend Eric Clapton is set to prove that his legendary status is far from a memory, officially announcing a sprawling 2026 world tour. The tour will span Europe, the UK, and North America, still supporting his latest studio effort, Meanwhile. Global superstar, guitar virtuoso, and songwriting legend Eric Clapton is returning to the stage in 2026 for a highly anticipated series of concerts on May 15, 2026 in Lanxess Arena, Cologne, Germany. Fans will have the chance to experience one of the most influential musicians in rock and blues history live in four exclusive shows. With timeless global hits such as Tears in Heaven, Layla, Wonderful Tonight, Cocaine, and Change the World, Eric Clapton has shaped the sound of modern music for decades. His extraordinary solo career includes iconic albums, sold-out world tours, and numerous honors, including 18 Grammy Awards. Clapton also holds the rare distinction of being inducted three times into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame: as a solo artist and as a member of both The Yardbirds and Cream. Born on March 30, 1945, in Surrey, England, Clapton has inspired generations of musicians with his expressive guitar playing, deep emotional connection to the blues, and remarkable versatility spanning blues, rock, and timeless ballads. In 2026, fans can once again experience this legendary artist live on stage. Alongside his classic songs, audiences can look forward to selected rarities and fresh arrangements, delivered with the passion and musical brilliance that have defined Eric Clapton’s career. Accompanied by his outstanding live band, Clapton promises unforgettable evenings celebrating the enduring power of blues and rock. 🎸

Based on his recent 2025 performances and tour patterns, Eric Clapton’s 2026 setlist is expected to follow a structured flow: an electric opening, a seated acoustic section, a heavy electric finale, and a blues-standard encore. With a rich repertoire over the decades is hard to exactly predict which songs exactly the setlist will include. My previous experience at the Calgary Saddledome in 2007, the show had an outstanding sound quality and the setlist looked like this:

01. Tell The Truth
02. Key To The Highway
03. Got To Get Better In A Little While
04. Little Wing
05. Let It Rain
06. Driftin’
07. Outside Woman Blues
08. Nobody Knows You When You’re Down and Out
09. Running On Faith
10. Motherless Children
11. Little Queen Of Spades
12. Further On Up The Road
13. Wonderful Tonight
14. Layla
15. Cocaine (encore)
16. Crossroads (encore)*

With the release of his album Meanwhile, fans should watch for the addition of tracks like “One Woman” or “The Call” (a Bob Neuwirth cover), which appeared in several 2025 setlists.
