With his permanent joining UFO at the end of 1973, the then 18-year-old Michael Schenker made a significant contribution to the international mega-success of the British rock band and rose from “German Wunderkind” to one of the most renowned guitarists of our time, whose legendary guitar playing continues to influence entire generations of musicians worldwide.

During his time with UFO from 1974 to 1978, known as the “Schenker era,” Michael Schenker released five groundbreaking studio albums, including “Lights Out” (1977) and “Phenomenon” (1974), as well as the live album “Strangers In The Night” (Live in Chicago 1978), which is still considered seminal.
