After the successful joint debut, CARL CARLTON & MELANIE WIEGMANN follow up: With “Miles Of Time” was released on 23. January 2026 their second joint album – and will be accompanied by a tour of the same name.

Already their first album “Glory Of Love” (2023) met with great response and brought directly a placement in the top 50 of the German album charts. With “Miles Of Time” CARLTON and WIEGMANN deepen their musical connection and present a work full of intensity, depth and stylistic diversity. Between Rhythm & Blues, Americana, Blues and Soul, they interpret forgotten song jewels as impressively as their own compositions.

At the center of the album is the special artistic symbiosis: CARL CARLTON’Svirtuoso, at the same time sensitive guitar playing and his striking, rough voice merge with the soulful, authentic vocals of MELANIE WIEGMANN to an intensity that convinces on sound carriers as well as on stage.

CARL CARLTON is an internationally recognized guitarist, songwriter and producer. His musical journey led him from Friesland via Holland, England and the USA to collaborations with greats such as Herman Brood, Manfred Mann, Eric Burdon, Joe Cocker and Willy DeVille. German rock icons such as Udo Lindenberg, Peter Maffay and Marius Müller-Westernhagen also worked with him for decades. A close friendship bound him with Robert Palmer, with whom he wrote and produced the Grammy-nominated album “Drive” – at the same time the starting point of his solo career. The connection to Levon Helm (The Band) was also shet. He gained international prestige both as a solo artist and with CARL CARLTON & The Songdogs. Stylistically influenced by Americana and Blues, he was awarded the Blues-Louis in 2024.

MELANIE WIEGMANN is a versatile singer, pianist and actress with a striking mezzo-soprano. She is at home in classical, jazz, musical and chanson in all genres and works in the recording studio as well as on theater stages and in front of the camera. She gained fame through her six-year role in the telenovela “Storm of Love”. On stage she was seen in “Mamma Mia!”, “Cabaret” as well as as an ensemble member of the Staatstheater Nürnberg in leading and character roles. She also works as a voice actress, with her greatest passion being singing.
