And So I Watch You From Afar + Caspian
Support: Lane Shi Otayonii
Double headliner show
Founded in 2006, the band And So I Watch You From Afar comes from the northernmost tip of Ireland and plays raw, experimental music that is at the same time agy, loud, euphoric and always overwhelming. The pure joy of playing and the energy that the band ignites in their live shows is now legendary. Since 2006 they have been touring the world tirelessly and have built up a loyal fan base with their live performances and seven albums so far. ASIWYFA embody the true spirit of artistic independence and are, in a way, the definition of DIY, of authenticity and determination.
The same applies to the Caspian quintet from Masschusetts, which has released three albums and numerous EPs since 2005.
The evenings will be opened by the multi-award-winning sound artist, composer and singer Lane Shi alias otay:onii, who has already inspired festivals such as Roadburn, SXSW and Fusion with her cross-genre music.
All performing acts are united by absolute dedication to music as well as spectacular live qualities – for all post-rock fans there are three real mandatory dates that you should not miss!
