The Devil and the Almighty Blues is a Norwegian heavy blues-rock quintet from Oslo known for their slow, raw, and melodic sound. Formed in 2010, the band reinterprets traditional Delta blues by infusing it with elements of hard rock, metal, country, and punk. Their music is often described as “slow rot blues”—heavy and sludge-filled without becoming pure metal, and slow without being strictly doom. They are distinguished by their use of vintage Gibson guitars and tube amplifiers, creating an organic, non-mainstream sound. They typically favor ausufernde (expansive) epics, with many tracks exceeding seven minutes, featuring a dynamic interplay between quiet and loud sections.

Skyjoggers is a Finnish space rock trio based in Tampere, Finland. The band is known for its “innovative” blend of space rock and psychedelic soundscapes, creating hypnotic, instrumental journeys.
