Betontod – Tour 2026
It’s the summer of 1990 in the smoking area of the local school in a small town on the Lower Rhine. Four budding punk rockers meet and swap their first LPs. They’re metal bands like Maiden, Metallica, and Slayer, but also the first punk records from Die Goldenen Zitronen and Slime. They quickly agree to start a band. All they need is a singer. That changes that day when a boy (newly arrived from Hanover) with bright red hair walks into the schoolyard. It’s immediately clear: no one but him could be the frontman of their punk band. This boy with the fitting name: Meister.
We fast forward several hundred pallets of Hansa Pils and several years. The boys, who used to rehearse in the basement of the local butcher shop amidst halves of ham, are now hitting the stages of Wacken and Rock am Ring. This path was rocky, instructive, and forged an even stronger bond within the band. Along the way, they not only gained experience but also shared the stage with many bands whose records they used to trade. Supporting Die Toten Hosen on their 40th anniversary tour was like a knighthood for the band. Well over 1000 concerts and 35 years later, you can still feel that fire burning brightly, and today they are more than capable of setting every venue and every audience ablaze.
