DESCRIPTION:Samantha Fish  is an American guitarist and singer-songwriter from Kansas City\, Missouri. While often cited as a blues artist\, Fish’s work features and draws from multiple genres\, including rock\, country\, funk\, bluegrass\, and ballads. \nSamantha Fish is not only considered one of the most remarkable guitarists of her generation\, she also plays in a league of her own: she masterfully infuses both overwhelming energy and extraordinary emotionality into all her pieces and has enjoyed a triumphant career. She has steadily worked her way up to headline-level status\, including a Grammy nomination in 2023 for the album “Death Wish Blues\,” a collaboration with rocker Jesse Dayton. \nOn her new album\, “Paper Doll\,” the first album Fish has recorded with her touring band—comprising Ron Johnson (bass)\, Jamie Douglass (drums)\, and Mickey Finn (keyboards)—the artist presents nine powerhouse tracks that hit with tremendous force.
