DESCRIPTION:Queensrÿche + Rivers Of Nihil \nQueensrÿche is a pioneering American progressive metal band formed in 1980 in Bellevue\, Washington. Known for their technical mastery and social consciousness\, they are often cited alongside Dream Theater and Fates Warning as the “Big Three” of the genre. \nCurrent Status and New Music (as of April 2026)\nThe band is actively working on their 17th studio album\, a follow-up to 2022’s Digital Noise Alliance. \n\nNew Album Progress: Guitarist Michael Wilton confirmed they are in the “pre-production” phase with roughly 13–15 song ideas.
