We had a bunch of rain lately. I mean it rained, rained and rained some more. Then the rain stopped and the sun peaked out a bit. Perfect weather for mushrooms in the pine forest and some other stuff I have no clue what it might be. Plants what I have seen only in planters inside homes in Canada are growing freely in the forest. While the Zeiss 16-35 F/4 lens is not exactly made for extreme closeups I think it performed pretty good to pull off these photos. An off camera flash ran on cheap Yongnuo remote was a great help to bring out some details. Some heavy compensation was necessary here and there in order to keep highlights under control. You know, once the highlight is gone, it’s gone. Another thing, I do not use any kind of filters in front of my lens generally speaking.
